These days, we all know chemicals are in everything. Preservatives, Genetically modified foods (GMOs), and chemicals in our foods specifically is something that has gained more notoriety in recent years, and we know more about what we eat than ever before.
But, what about our beauty products? If we put facial wash, moisturizers, and makeup on our skin, our FACE, shouldn’t we be concerned with the ingredients in those products as well?
Derma E specializes in clean beauty, with all of their products being vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and GMO-free. The line was developed by a team of Female Dermatologists with the intent to make clean beauty products that will go the distance with us as we age.
I’ve tried many of their products including their line of Vitamin C eye gels and serums, but most recently I tried their line of Mood Enhancing facial mists that not only provide benefits for your skin but also affect your mood at the same time!
Uplift
“Uplift” is my favorite mist of them all, and that’s because….you guessed it, it uplifts your mood. It includes eleuthero and arctic root, citrus waters, coconut essence, and witch hazel. Just a little spritz and I found my mood truly felt happier, and more alert. The smell of citrus and coconut reminds me of the beach and summer days, so this is a winning combo!
Calm
The “Calm” has the adverse effect of the uplift, but the smells are just as good. This one is comprised of amla and Gotu kola, herbal waters, coconut essence, and witch hazel. Gotu kola helps to ease anxiety and stress and eases insomnia. This is a great one to try before sleep!
Create
“Create” is made with cordyceps and cardamom, along with with aromatic waters, coconut essence, and witch hazel. Create also has a great scent, and really helped me to focus and dial in on what I was working on. The ingredients used may also be beneficial in increasing our workout performance, so this one is good to use before your workouts or when working on a project that needs your attention!
