Valentines Day ​Date Ideas

Valentines Day is literally tomorrow, and everyone is talking about their romantic date night plans. I personally think opting for a night in is way more appealing then venturing out on a busy night like this one, but if you’re the type that wants to be out and about on the Date Night of the year, I put together a few alternatives for you!

Drive in movie theater

I know, I know, nowadays a drive in movie theatre may be few and far between. You may need to google your nearest one, and if thats not an option try a movie in the park. For my local Tampa gals, we actually have a  couple nearby that are worth the drive! I linked them both below. I like to take my favorite snacks or grab to go on the way there. You can even smuggle in your own wine or champs if you dare 😉 A movie at the drive in would be such a fun and unique way to spend Valentines with your boo.

Picnic in the park/on the beach

If you live near the beach, that would obviously be ideal. However if you don’t, a picnic in the park would be a perfect alternative! I love this idea, I think theres something really cool about grabbing food and sitting outside together to chat and spend quality time. Also, how cute is it to take a little picnic basket with you?!

Dinner at your local restaurant

If you and your Valentine are the type of couple that prefer to paint the town red, I would make sure you make reservations IMMEDIATELY!! Most restaurants will only see you with reservations on a busy night like this, so I would get on it as soon as possible. 

Dinner at the house and an evening stroll

My favorite night is always a night in. There’s nothing I love more than cooking at home, having a cocktail, and watching a movie. However, for the sake of Valentines day and romance, an evening walk would be a nice addition.
